Hollywood Night Shoot
I recently shot some images in Hollywood at night. I am happy with the results but the location was a bit lacking. I need to discover a new spot to capture the city at night. This one just wasn't dramatic enough. Here are some samples. For those of you, my readers, let me know what you are thinking of these.

Get busy Living or Get Busy Dying...
I recently heard this quote from somewhere. I don't remember where I heard it, but it really resonated with me. Many of you who know me realize I have been struggling with quite a few personal issues in the past six months. I have been what seems like a "Funk" for a long time. Since I heard this quote again, I have been thinking... Maybe there is something to it. So Now, I have made some decisions.
1. Its time to get busy Living...
Yep! Its time to do something constructive. The Motion Picture world has been very slow for me. So, I have decided I need an Artistic outlet. So, I am going to start shooting Photographs again. I have been absent too long from this pursuit. Its time to get out there and DO not talk about it.
2. Its time to re-devote myself to my family again...
Its been a long road of personal issues recently. I have been very fortunately in my life. I need my son's in my life as much as they need me. Perhaps there is time to reconstruct this. I believe so. Time will tell...
So, with those two goals in mind, I embark on my pursuit. I love to shoot images. I also live in one of the most diverse areas in the country. I read an article in the LA Times about HDR Photography. Seeing those images has gotten me inspired again. So, tonight it begins. Its me, a camera, and tripod.
Time to make magic!

New Beginnings Again....
Well, I seem to be a very random Blogger...Thats for sure! I vow to change this. I had a conversation with a friend of mine recently, He said I should blog daily as a release of events in my life. So, today begins this journey....
I have been shooting photos again recently after a very long absence. I just didn't feel up to shooting. Very Unmotivated!! I forgot how cathartic it is to just grab a camera and shoot something. It really doesn't matter what the subject... It just feels right again to be shooting and working towards my photography goals after a long pause.
I also began riding again. I let life get in the way of one of my favorite pasttimes...cycling! Good to be back on the bike!
Well, enough for now. I have more to come!
Cheers,
G

I have been working on a new series of photographs. They are coming along very nicely. I will be ready to release them to the world in the very near future. Stay Tuned...

Its been awhile since I updated this. It has been Busy! Most of the time has been taken up with preparing for the San Francisco 3D project. Now for the News... The 3D movie has been postponed indefintely. We don't have a start date yet. Oh Well! Now I just have to work on acquiring more work.
Perhaps now that the 3D job has subsided I can devote time to working on the Timelapse project with Panasonic. That is a good idea! I can shoot in Los Angeles pieces of footage for the project. Also, this coming week is HD Expo. So, I will have the time to speak with Panasonic about the upcoming shoot dates!
More as things develop...
Cheers!
